Care About US App

The Care About US app is a shopping portal that encourages consumers to buy American. The initiative endeavors to help educate shoppers in the U.S. that buying products made, designed and assembled in America makes a serious difference not only in the overall economy but in their personal lives. The app also allows users to hone into specific causes that Care About US rates, such as child labor, environmental concerns and minimum wage practices. The app was one of the most complex and challenging apps I’ve designed as it contains a very deep set of user-configurable information. This project also included designing the UX and UI for the custom software backend that ties the app to the various data feeds and allows backend control over the displayed information.
