Business is booming in Wisconsin. But talent – especially sought-after millennial workers – is in higher demand and shorter supply than ever. Nearly every state in the U.S. is facing the same issue and marketing to attract the same millennials. To help Wisconsin stand apart in this race to lure out-of-state workers, we at Nelson Schmidt created a massive 10 million dollar integrated marketing campaign targeting 13 metro areas determined through research to be the most fertile ground to find those willing to move to Wisconsin.

This campaign involved shooting nearly 40 video ads that were then utilized in connected TV, advanced predictive digital ads, social media, print and out of home placements. I acted as creative director, on set director, editing director, digital media strategist and much more in this campaign that consumed the better part of a year in my career.
